Justin Glyer, Esq.


Justin Glyer, Esq., Founder and Principal of Glyer Media and Entertainment Law, has been practicing law for over 14 years.  The firm primarily focuses on contracts and business and legal counsel in the areas of entertainment, media, technology, intellectual property, marketing and privacy law.

Over his career, Justin has worked on matters with parties ranging from individuals to Fortune 100 companies.  He has successfully drafted, reviewed and negotiated contracts involving digital media start-ups, mobile app companies, artists, talent, influencers, journalists, producers, movie studios, television networks, promoters, talent agencies, interview subjects, personal and business managers, multi-channel internet distributors, record labels, publishers, investors, photographers, software developers, ISPs, public speakers, social media platforms, advertisers, marketing and telecommunications companies and numerous others.


Justin spent the majority of his career as a business and legal affairs professional for global media and entertainment companies including Creative Artists Agency (CAA), Current TV, Universal Music Group and EMI Recorded Music.  He is able to carefully balance the need to minimize exposure to potential liability, with sensitivity to business and creative goals.  In addition to providing legal support to artists and content and technology professionals, Justin has given extensive counsel to corporate departments ranging from business development, human resources, finance and accounting, to marketing, sales and operations.


Justin enjoys playing the piano and guitar, traveling, concerts, festivals, movies, binge-worthy TV, water and snow recreation and hiking.
